Apple Engineer Gets Fired After Letting Blogger Daughter Film iPhone X

It must be pretty cool to work at Apple, right? You get to see all the latest releases, and be the first to know about some of the most revolutionary technology in the world?

An Apple engineer has just got fired after bringing his blogger daughter to work and letting her film the long-awaited Apple X. Filming took place at Caffè Macs, at the Apple Cafeteria, and as viewers could see, her father was fully aware that he, along with his exclusive Apple X, were being filmed. The video went unsurprisingly viral, and was deleted following Apple’s request. Despite this, many people have reposted the video to YouTube to allow the world to preview the 10th anniversary phone.

Since the video’s success, and her dad being fired, blogger Brooke Amelia Peterson has posted a video begging viewers to not hate on her dad but on her. ‘You know what guys? Hate on me all you want, but please don’t hate on my father, because he’s the best person” she said in her latest video.

Brooke wanted to make it clear she was not angry with Apple, and her family respected their decision to let her father go, “At the end of the day, when you work for Apple it doesn’t matter how good of a person you are, if you break a rule you’ve gotta go”. Although, she was puzzled at why her video got so much attention when some YouTubers already had the phone and were doing hands-on videos like hers.

The phone is due for release on November 3rd, and is already set to be iconic with its “super retina display”. The screen is 5.8 inches with over two million pixels – the first of its kind in iPhone history. There is no more back button, and the user has to swipe to quit an application.

Do you think Apple made the right decision to let their engineer go? What do you think of the iPhone’s new look? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
